Practical Update in Cardiology is designed to provide attendees with a comprehensive review of the latest breakthroughs and advances in cardiovascular medicine. With a combination of didactic lectures, case-based presentations and panel discussion, faculty will discuss cutting-edge therapies and as well as common challenges encountered in daily clinical practice.


Objectives
  1. Discuss how to manage heart failure when GDMT is not working
  2. Describe new technologies to treat valvular heart disease
  3. Discuss when to use coronary calcium scoring
  4. Review advances in pulmonary embolism care
  5. Discuss renal denervation for resistant hypertension
  6. Describe which cardiac patients can be treated safely in an ASC
