CQ Your Bias Workshop 2026

The CQ® Your Bias workshop helps individuals understand unconscious bias and manage their bias during interactions with others. In this highly interactive course, participants explore personal biases and the systemic bias present in societal and organizational practices, processes, and policies.

1. Discuss why bias matters
2. Recognize sources of explicit and implicit bias
3. Identify systemic bias in our organizations/institutions
4. Practice culturally intelligent strategies to disrupt bias

This training is for Corewell Health employees and affiliated providers only.

In support of improving patient care, Corewell Health Southeast Michigan is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

Medicine CME: Corewell Health Southeast Michigan designates this Live Activity for a maximum of 3.50 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™.  Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Pharmacy CE: Corewell Health Southeast Michigan designates this activity for 3.50 ACPE contact hour(s). ACPE Universal Activity Number (UAN): JA4008259-0000-26-017-L99-P/T.  Learners should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.  Credit will be uploaded to the NABP CPE Monitor within 30 days after activity completion.  Per ACPE rules, Corewell Health Southeast Michigan does not have access nor the ability to upload credits requested after 60 days.  It is the individual learner’s responsibility to provide the correct NABP ID and DOB (MMDD) to receive credit.

Nursing CE: Corewell Health Southeast Michigan designates this activity for a maximum of 3.50 ANCC contact hour(s).  Nurses should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Social Work CE:  As a Jointly Accredited Organization, Corewell Health Southeast Michigan is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Organizations, not individual courses, are approved under this program. Regulatory boards are the final authority on courses accepted for continuing education credit. Social workers completing this course receive 3.50 continuing education credit(s).

Commission on Dietetic Registration:

 Implicit Bias: This training meets the State of Michigan Licensing and Regulatory Affairs requirements for training on implicit bias and provides 3.5 hours of implicit bias training.
