Overview

The annual solid organ transplant symposium brings together the expertise in organ transplantation. Presentations and discussions will focus on the phases of patient care among the various adult solid-organ transplant programs: heart, lung, kidney and liver. This CME-supported conference will highlight identification of appropriate candidates for transplant, cutting-edge technology in organ transplant, potential post-transplant complications and best practices. The keynote address will encompass the vision for where the field of transplant will be headed in the near future.

This conference is designed for any team member involved in the care of a transplant recipient.


Objectives
  1. Identify expert insights, emerging techniques, and future directions in organ transplantation.
  2. Describe current and new changes in transplant and end organ disease.
  3. Apply knowledge of post-transplant complications and treatment options.

Medicine CME: Corewell Health Southeast Michigan designates this Live Activity for a maximum of 5.50 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™.  Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Nursing CE: Corewell Health Southeast Michigan designates this activity for a maximum of 5.50 ANCC contact hour(s).  Nurses should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Pharmacy CE: Corewell Health Southeast Michigan designates this activity for 5.50 ACPE contact hour(s).
