Overview

Practical and Progressive Updates in Primary Care Medicine is an entirely ON DEMAND event allowing providers to create a flexible CME experience that works best with your needs and schedule. This unique format lets you view pre-recorded lectures at your convenience during the designated conference time. Simply log in and participate from your home, office, or anywhere you are from March 23 through May 20.

This educational activity will offer the primary care clinician practical approaches to the management of contemporary issues encountered in today's clinical populations. The conference has been designed to offer options for the participants to obtain information most relevant to their individual practices. Throughout the allotted time frame, and at their convenience, participants will have the opportunity to become updated on current evidence-based guidelines and focus on practice- based learning and improvement.

This conference is available for on-demand viewing from 12:00 a.m. Monday, March 23 through 11:59 p.m. Wednesday, May 20.

Objectives
  1. Recognize, evaluate and treat (with evidence-based guidelines) common conditions such as diabetes, asthma, testosterone deficiency, acute and chronic pain, breast conditions, infectious disease, fecal incontinence, menopause, resistant hypertension, cognitive decline, and dementia.
  2. Recognize and incorporate strategies to provide trauma-informed primary care.
  3. Recall updated recommendations regarding immunizations and cardiac disease prevention.

Physician $225 | Non-Physician $200 | Resident/Fellow/Student*+ $50

*Corewell Health providers receive $50 off the registration rate (code applied during registration)
+Resident/Fellow/Student Rate does NOT include CME credit. To receive credit, you must register at the physician or non-physician rate.

Cancellation Policy: Registrations must be cancelled by 12:00 p.m. Friday, March 20 to receive a refund less a $25 administrative processing fee. Cancellations must be submitted in writing to [email protected].

Welcome to the Practical and Progressive Updates in Primary Care Medicine. 

Lectures must be viewed by 11:59 p.m. Wednesday, May 20 to receive credit.  After this date, lectures can be viewed, but credit will NOT be provided.  A credit extension is not available.

Important Reminders
1. Make sure you are Signed In to the CME portal (your name will be in the upper corner if you are signed in) - AND - Registered for the conference. 
2. Locate the lecture you wish to view and click View Lecture.
3. View the lecture, enter your name and email address where indicated, and Submit the form.
4. Complete the CME credit claim form.  Repeat for all lectures.

Credit will be instantly added to your CME transcript if all steps are correctly followed.
